The School of Culinary Arts cultivates creative and talented students, equipped with the knowledge and skills to both make delicious cuisine and design their own lives through food. We support students to develop and
commercialize their own brands by understanding and utilizing each food’s different characteristics, including tastes, flavors, ingredients, and nutrition.
The school offers five majors including cooking, cafe bakery, food & nutrition, food content, and farm-food-business. Cooking and cafe bakery majors teach not only how to produce quality food and beverages, but also how to create and enjoy food as a culture. Meanwhile, food & nutrition major is proud to offer Korea’s top rate of qualification earning.
The food content major records food-related culture in the form of stories, images, and video content; and the farm-food-business major deals with the process of commercializing sustainable food and cooking processes of healthy ingredients.
We run a school-based company named Cultura and have a number of customized training agreements with leading companies such as Marriott, CJ Foodville and Landing Jeju Development. Through our special “brand classes,” run jointly with these companies, we provide abundant quality employment opportunities. Students can also find overseas job opportunities by participating in the global internship programs.
